Felicia and Phillip decided to host their destination wedding at Haus 820 in Lakeland, Florida. The New York couple had a guest list of 400 guests who traveled from the Caribbean and other states in the US to celebrate their nuptials. During the wedding, their love for each other and family was so apparent. They wanted their wedding to be a magical experience for their guests.
The ceremony was held at First United Methodist Church in Lakeland. Guests then transitioned to swanky Haus 820, which has all the vibes of a New York City loft. So, the couple and some of their guests felt right at home. Beautiful simple elegant decor in white, black and lavender with touches of gold displayed the couple’s modern elegant style. Their wedding cake and desserts equally complimented the decor.
To include a little of their Indian and Jamaican culture, the late night food station consisted of a traditional dish of curry goat and rice. The DJ played an array of music from Reggae, Calypso, Soca, Dancehall and american tunes. They partied New York style and danced the night away into the morning hours. Their Lakeland destination wedding was all they dreamed of.
